Superintendent ‘s Office

Welcome to the MSAD #58

Maine School Administrative District #58 is a made up of the towns of Avon, Kingfield, Phillips, and Strong.   The four towns united in 1968 to form the district.   At that time, Eustis was also a member town but has since left the district, however Eustis tuitions high school student to Mt. Abram High School.  Over the years, the schools in MSAD 58 have each seen recognition as great places to attend.  Because of the small school atmosphere, students have opportunities that larger systems cannot match and are able to offer more personalized attention to address each student’s individual needs.

The district also serves the students in the Unorganized Territories of Madrid, Freeman, and Salem, as well as students from Highland,Copeland Plantation and Carrabassett. Additionally,  high school students from Eustis attend Mt Abram High School.

The school community is a place that can provide a nurturing and supportive environment for students to grow, learn and develop to their fullest potential.

The District had four schools:

Phillips Elementary School- Jeffrey Pillsbury, Principal

Strong Elementary School-Felecia Pease, Principal

Kingfield Elementary School-Kim Ramharter, Principal

Mt. Abram High School-Michelle Tranten, Principal

The Superintendent’s Office is located at the Phillips Elementary School, 1401 Rangeley Road, Phillips, Maine.  207-639-2086

Superintendent of Schools-Susan Pratt
